Privacy Policy — Chrome Web Store Featured Badge Audit

This privacy policy covers the Chrome Web Store Featured Badge Audit plugin for Claude Code (the "Plugin"), published by Divyam Rastogi.

The short version

The Plugin collects no data. It has no servers, no telemetry, no analytics, and no accounts. It cannot see, store, or transmit anything about you or your code.

What the Plugin is

The Plugin consists entirely of instruction files (Markdown documents) that guide Claude Code through auditing a Chrome extension against Google's published badge criteria. It contains no executable code, background processes, hooks, or network services of its own.

Data collection

The Plugin itself collects, stores, and transmits no personal data, usage data, or code. There is no telemetry and no third-party analytics.

How your code is processed

When you run an audit, your extension's code and store listing content are read and processed by Claude Code within your own session, under your existing agreement with Anthropic. The Plugin adds no data flows beyond what Claude Code already does; see Anthropic's privacy policy for how Claude Code handles session data.

During an audit, Claude may — within your session and subject to your approval settings — fetch publicly available pages such as Google's badge documentation or your extension's public Chrome Web Store listing. These requests go to those public sites directly; nothing is sent to the Plugin's author.

Changes to this policy

If the Plugin ever changes in a way that affects privacy (it would take a redesign — see above), this page and the plugin repository will be updated before release.
